Line to the mouth of Monockasy, then down Potomack River to the
mouth of the Eastern Branch, to be one of the Counties now to be
erected: And that all the Lands to the northward and Westward
to be the other County.
All which is humbly submitted to the Consideration of the House
Signed per Order. E. Dorsey Cl. Com.
Which being read, a Question was put, whether there shall be
two Divisions, or only one Division, of the said County ? Resolved,
that there shall be but one Division.

Mr Smith delivers Mr Speaker the following Report, viz.
By the Committee appointed to enquire where the Bounds of a
new County, to be erected out of the upper Parts of Dorchester and
Queen Anne's Counties, may most conveniently run.
Your Committee, by due Inspection do find, that it will be con-
venient to the Inhabitants of Dorchester and Queen Ann's Counties,
to have the County to be erected begin at the mouth of Tuckahoe
Creek, and up and with the said Creek to the new Causeway, and
from said Causeway with the new Road to Dover Road, and with
Dover Road to the main Branch of Choptank River, and with said
Branch to Kent County on Delaware, and with the Line of Kent
and Sussex to the North East Branch of Nanticoke River, and down
and with the said Branch and River to the mouth of a small Creek
on which Maj. James Billings's Mill stands, formerly known by the
