Edmund Jennings Esqr from the Upper House, delivers Mr
Speaker a Bill entituled, An Act to restrain non-Residents from
hunting within this Province, and to prevent the Mischief occa-
sioned by setting the Woods on Fire, Indorsed, (See page 39)
Which Bill was read here the first Time, and ordered to lie on the
Table.
The House adjourns 'til 2 of the Clock.

A motion being made for reading an Ingrossed Bill entituled,
An Act for laying an Imposition on Tobacco and other Commodi-
ties therein mentioned, for the Discharge of his Lordship's Quit

the said Bill shall be now read ? Resolved in the Negative.
