Resolved, That this House will not proceed to any new Business
after Wednesday next.
The petition of the Back Inhabitants of Prince George's County
praying Leave that a Bill may be brought in for the Division of the
said County, read and granted: And Ordered, that Mr Smith,
William Stoughton Esqre and Major Hall, be a Committee to
enquire where the Division of the said County may most conveni-
ently run
The petition of sundry the Freeholders and Inhabitants of the
Upper Parts of Dorchester and Queen Ann's Counties praying
that a Bill may be brought in, for erecting a new County out of the
upper Parts of the said Counties, read and granted: And Ordered,
that the aforenamed Gentlemen be likewise a Committee to enquire
where the Bounds of the said County may most conveniently run.
A Bill entituled, An Act for ascertaining the Allowance of Petit
Jurors attending the Provincial Court, and to limit Costs with
respect to Evidences, was brought in.
Mr William Wilkinson appears in the House.
William Stoughton Esqre brings in an Address to his Excellency,
which was read, approved of, and ordered to be engrossed.
On reading the Message from his Excellency communicated to
this House, with Accounts relating to the building of a House for
the Governor: A Question was put, Whether the Consideration
thereof shall be referred to the next Session of Assembly or not?
Resolved in the Affirmative.
The House adjourns 'til To morrow Morning at 9 of the Clock.

Tuesday Morning, September 10. 1745
The House met according to Adjournment, and the Proceedings
of yesterday were read.
Richard Lee Esqre from the Upper House delivers Mr Speaker
a Petition of Francis Waring, praying Leave to bring in a Bill to
vest in the Petitioner, and the Heirs of his Body, and for want of
such Heirs, in the Heirs of the Body of Basil Waring, Part of two
Tracts of Land called Mazooncon and Addition; Indorsed (See
page 31)
Which petition being read, Col. Hooper and Mr Sprigg, are ap-
pointed to enquire into the Truth of the Facts therein set forth.
A Motion being made by a Member, that this House take some
further Steps this Session, for obtaining an Officer's Fee Bill; the
House agrees thereto.
