The following ingrossed Bills, viz.
An ingrossed Bill entituled A supplementary and additional Act
to the Act entituled An Act for erecting a Town on the North Side
of Potapsco in Baltimore County, and for laying out in Lots sixty
Acres of Land in and about the Place where John Fleming now lives ;
and to an Act entituled, An Act for erecting a Town on a Creek
divided on the East from the Town lately laid out in Baltimore
County called Baltimore Town, on the Land whereon Edward Fell
keeps Store :
An ingrossed Bill entituled, An Act to impower and direct the
Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court, to enter and record among
the said County Records a Deed of Bargain and Sale from William
Mitchel, Edward Mitchel and Grace his wife, to Mordecai Moore,
deceased :
An ingrossed Bill entituled, An Act to impower and direct the
Clerk of Charles County to enter and record among the said County
Records, a Deed of Bargain and Sale from James Connell and Anne
his wife, to John Dunbarr, of a Parcel of Land therein mentioned :
And an ingrossed Bill entituled, An Act to prohibit raising Swine
and Geese in the Town of Cambridge in Dorchester County :

Were severally read and assented to, and sent to the Upper House,
with the Paper Bills, by Capt. Ennalls and Dr Buchanan.

The House adjourns 'til 2 of the Clock.

The following ingrossed Address, viz.
To his Excellency Thomas Bladen Esqre Governor of Maryland.
The humble Address of the House of Delegates of the said
Province.
May it please your Excellency
There now lies before this House a Bill for laying an Imposition
on Tobacco for the Discharge of his Lordship's Quit Rents, and
Support of Government; but prior to passing the same, and making
the proper Estimates, we find it necessary to know the annual Amount
of the Quit Rents, being desirous to give his Lordship a full Equiva-
lent for them: Wherefore we humbly request your Excellency will
give Orders that his Lordship's Agent, or other proper Officers,
may lay before this House, an Account of the neat yearly Amount
of the Quit Rents in the several Counties respectively.
Being read and assented to, was ordered, on Behalf of the House,
to be signed by the honourable Speaker.
Col. Colvill and Col. Hall ordered to acquaint his Excellency, that
this House hath prepared an Address to him, and desires to know
when and where he will be pleased to receive it: They return and
