Saturday Morning, August 31. 1745

The House met according to Adjournment, All members present
as Yesterday, except Mr Mackall and Mr William Wilkinson.
The Proceedings of Yesterday were read.
Col. Hooper brings in an Address to the Governor, which was
read, approved of, and ordered to be ingrossed.
Maj. Hall, from the Committee of Laws, brings in a Bill entituled,
An Act for the Gauge of Barrels for Pork, Beef, Pitch, Tar, and
Tare of Barrels for Flour or Bread; which was read the first Time,
and ordered to lie on the Table.
Wm Stoughton Esqre brings in an Address to the Governor, which
was read, approved of, and ordered to be ingrossed.
The House adjourns 'til Monday Morning 9 of the Clock.

September 5

Monday Morning, September 2. 1745.

The House met according to Adjournment, All Members present
as on Saturday, except Mr Lecompte.
The Proceedings of Saturday were read.
Mr Thomas Hammond and Mr John Goldsborough appear in the
House.
