[Council to Mr. Hugh Young]

Sir We have empowered and requested Mr George Keeports to
settle with you for the Powder, Guns, and other Articles, had of the
State, according to the Terms mentioned in the Governor's Letter
of the 12th Septr last, to receive the Money and transmit it to the
Treasurer of this Shore

Present as on yesterday.
Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to Capt. Robert
Berry three hundred and fifty seven Pounds nine shillings and six
Pence Bala of Acct passed by the D. Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. William Reily of the 4th
Regt three hundred and Twenty five Pounds, ten shillings due him
p acct passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut William Adams of the 7th
Regimt three hundred and twenty five Pounds ten Shillings due him
p Acct passed by the Aud Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Edward Edgerly of the 2d
Regimt Three hundred and twenty five Pounds ten shillings due him
p Acct passed by the Depy Audr
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. Jos. Smith of Colo N. Gist's
Regt eight hundred and thirty two Pounds ten shillings p Acct passed
by the D. Aud.
That John Crisall deliver to Capt. Robert Berry of the Plater 5
Gall8 Rum & 10 bbs Bro. Sugar in full for the Monthly Allowance
in those Artls to 27 Inst.
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Serjt Nich8 Hutchinson
of the 7th Reginit 1 shirt 1 pr Breeches 1 pr Shoes and 1 pr Stockings,
to John Barlow recruit for the same Regimt 1 pr Overalls and Samuel
Clark & Richard Barlow of said Regt each 1 pr Overalls and 1 pr
Stockings and also to Capt. William Reily of 4th Regimt Twelve
Blanketts.
That the Collector of the Tax for Frederick County pay to Colo
Thos Price six thousand Pounds to be expended in the Purchase of
Provision for the Army and to be accounted for.

Gentn By a Letter received from Mr Stoddert of the 30th June, we
are informed the United States have not any Brass Field Pieces, of
the Sizes required by our State but that they may have some of differ-
ent Sizes, which you will have forwarded with the small Arms and
Accoutriments if they will answer; we accept the Offer of the Board
and request you to have them sent down as soon as may be convenient
