& singular the goods, Chattels & Debts of the Deceased, w^ch haue,
may, or shall come to yo^r hands, possesⁿ or knowledge. And allso a
true & iust Account in and concerning yo^r admistraon therein. And
to exhibite both into the Office for Probate of Wills, & Graunting
Admistraons lawfully authorized. Touching w^ch Inuentory yo^u are
assigned to performe att or before the first day of Septemb^r next
ensuing. And an account when yo^u shall bee therto lawfully re-
quyred; And lastly wee doe hereby constitute, ordaine & appoynt
yo^u the s^d Walter Hall Admistrato^e of all & singular the goods,
Chatties & debts of the s^d Deceased Gyuen att S^t Maries this Sixth
day of Aprill, in the Six & Twentith yeare of Our Dominion ouer
the s^d Prouince of Maryland Anoq Dni 1658 Wittnes Our Secre-
tary of Our sayd Prouince.

To all Christian poeple to whom this present writing shall come.
Know yee th^t I Will^m Styles of the prouince of Maryland Plant^r
haue bargayned & sold, & by these p^ents, doe bargaine & Sell vnto
Robert Shell of the s^d prouince Plant^r his heyres, Exequuto^es, ad-
mistrato^es & assignes One halfe of my now dwelling Plantaon Neare
Brittons Bay as may more planiely appeare by the Patt^t thereof. As
allso halfe the cleare Land, as well as the Vncleared, w^th halfe the
dwelling & tobacco howsing thereon: & one halfe of all other build-
ing or buildings now uppon the s^d Plantaon, & the one halfe of all
other thing or things, w^ch properly belong unto the s^d plantaon. And
doe bind my selfe, heyres, Exequuto^es &c: to make good the Sale
thereof, unto the s^d Shell &c: from all iust claimes in Law. Prouided
allwayes, & uppon this condicon neuerthelesse th^t the s^d Robert Shell
doe well & truly pay, or cause to bee payd unto mee, my heyres,
Exequuto^es &c: the summe of Two Thowsand pownds of merch^ble
tobacco & cask, the next Crop ensuing, & one Thowsand more of the
like Tobaccho about the Tenth day of Octob^r in the Yeare One
Thowsand six hund^d fifty eight as by Two Bills vnder the sayd
Shell's hand may more plainly appeare. W^ch Tobaccho is in full, for
the paym^t of the one halfe of the aboue plantaon w^ch conteyne's in
all one Hundred Acres of Land according to Pattent, unto w^ch I
putt my hand & Scale this first day of May, One Thowsand Six
hund^d fifty & Seauen.
