s^d Owen James my heyres Exec^rs, Adm^rs, or Assignes or any of us,
doe & shall well & truly pay or cause to bee payd unto the s^d Thomas
Ticknor his Exec^rs, Adm^rs, or Assignes the s^d surne of ffifty fowre
pownds one Shilling & Two pence according to the teno^r & true
meaning of the s^d Bill of Debt, That then this Bill of Sale shall be
uoyd & of noe effect, or ells it shall stand in full force absolutely.

Vppon the demand of the plf for 54', I^s, 2^d, agst the Admistrato^r
of Owen James Deceased, according to the s^d Owens Bill, A Copie
whereof is produced & shewen in Court & attested by lawfull witt-
nesses, (whereof, One is p^ent in Court) by the s^d ptfs Attorney.
The deft sayth th^t thirty Eight pownds, Ten shillings, Three pence,
halfe penny is allready (formerly) payd of th^t Bill by Owen James

in his Life time as may appeare by an acquittance gyuen by Edmund
Berkeley (who was then the pifs Attorney) & uppon Record.

W^ch Receipt or acquittance being read, & allowed by the Board.
It is ordered th^t the Admistrato^r pay the Remainder of the Bill, being
ffifteene pownds, Ten shillings, & Eleauen pence sterl. unto the plf, or
his Attorney; or make other satisfaction in goods to th^t ualue.
