Deceased, W^ch was to be payd uppon the deliuery of an Indenture of
yo^r Pet™ sonne (w^ch the s^d Cap^t Mitchell had for his security) as by a
noate yo^r Pet^r hath from under his owne hand, appeares, Now Cap^t
Cornewaleys hauing procured an Order for the attatching this Tob,
Yo^r Pet^r humbly therefore beseecheth yo^r wor^ps to Order That hee
may haue the s^d Indenture (according to Couen^l) deliuered, & the
Tob shall be ready, Or ells th^t yo^r wor^ps will please to reuerse the
former Order for Attatching the Tob. & yo^r Pet^r shall as in duty
bownd pray &c :

or his Attorney, uppon the paym^t of One Thowsand pownds of Tob
(for w^ch formerly hee obteyned Judgm^t) giue the Pet^r security for
deliuering him an Indenture of the sonne of the s^d Pet^r, w^ch was
bownd ouer to Cap^t Will^m Mitchel for the s^d Mitchels security of
paying one thowsand pownds of Tob, as the Pet^r hath declared in his
fores^d Petⁿ.

To the hon^ble the Leuiten^t Grail & Councell of Maryland &c :

The humble Petⁿ of Giles Sadler undersheriffe Sheweth That yo^r
Pet^r had an Attatchm^t to serue to the ualew of 600^l Tob for Walter
Senswerfe uppon the Estate of Alexander fforgesson & yo^r Petr
returned the s^d Attatchm^t att a Court held the 10^th of May last, Att
w^ch Court there passed an Order, th^t yo^r Pet^r should haue the goods
attatched, appraysed by two honest men, & deliuered unto the s^d
Senswerfe, W^ch yo^r Pet^r did according to Order. And the goods
attatched were appraysed to the ualew of 550^l of Tob, & deliuered
unto Rich: Smith the Attorney of the s^d Senswerfe, And the s^d
Rich: Smith refuseth to pay the ffees therefore, allthough due by
Act of Assembly, ffor w^ch yo^r Pet^r humbly Craueth the Judgm^t of
this hon^ble Court, Whither, or noe hee shall haue his ffees allowed by
Act of Assembly ? & Allso why an Order shall cutt of the ffees of an
Exequuon ? And allso what shall bee allowed to the Appraysers in
the hund^d? I hope the paynes of an Officer will bee Considered by
yo^r hono^rs, & hee shall &c pray &c :
Vppon the Petⁿ of the aboues^d Giles Sadler It is adiudged That hee
being Vndersheriffe Rightly Layd Attatchm^t & Leuyed Exequuon, &
Ordered that hee haue his ffee payd him therefore, by the s^d Sens-
werfe, or his Attorney imploying him; as is .... in th^t Case by Act
of Assembly.

This Cause following was sent up from the Clerke of the Court in
Caluert County, there held 12^th of July 1659, as followeth.
The Compl sueth the Deft in an accon of ffelony, for stealing away
Grace Molden, his Daughter in Law, who is under age The deft
denies th^t hee stole her. The s^d Grace conf esseth in Court that shee
