Know all men by these p^ents, th^t I Edmund Berkeley of London
Merch^t Attorney to M^r Thomas Ticknor of London Grocer, doe
acknowledge to haue receaued of M^r Owen James of the Prouince
of Maryland Planf Six hogsheads of Tobaco: & six pownds of
Beauer: & doe accept of Eight hogsheads more, w^ch the s^d Owen
James shipped in the Charity Jn^o Bosworth Master, & consigned unto
the s^d Ticknor, & by him receaued. All w^ch Tobacco beeing ffowr-
teene hogsheads & six pownd of Beauer dos amount to the summe
of Thirty Eight pownds Ten shillings three pence 1/2 w^ch is in part of
the s^d Owen James his Bond to the s^d Thomas Ticknor. W^ch Bond
beareth date the Thirteenth day of 7^bor 1654. As wittnes my hand
& Seale this fift day of Aprill One Thowsand six hund^d fifty & six.

Elizabeth Stephenson doe warrant the sale of the s^d Cattle unto the
