someway surreptitiously hath gott into his possesⁿ & refuseth to
deliuer to yo^r Pet^r or satisfaction for the s^d Land whereon the s^d
Gregory had builded & cleared a Conuenient Plantaon worth as yo^r
Pet^r is informed neere 2000^l Tob.
In consideraon whereof yo^r Pet^r humbly prayeth th^t the s^d Baysey
may deliuer up the s^d writing, or declare uppon Oath the Contents
thereof & giue satisfaction to yo^r Pet^r for the s^d Plantaon, whereby
yo^r Pet^r may receiue satisfaction for his iust Debt & hee shall
pray &c :
The deft sayth th^t she knoweth not of any Conclicon passed by her
husband to the s^d Gregory under hand writing, & if such were she
knoweth not what is become thereof &c:

In this Cause Anne Cranly deposed sayth, That her husband
Gregory had a Condicon of Michael Baysey for planting grownd in
Patux^t Riuer for nine yeares for w^ch grownd her s^d husband was to
pay to the s^d Baysey Two Capons a yeare. But what is become of
the Condicon shee knoweth not.
Thomas Long sayth That Thomas Gregory told this Depon^t that
hee had a Condicon from Michael Baysey for nine yeares for his
planting Grownd & shewed him this Depon^t the Condicon: But this
Depon^t neuer read the same.
This Cause is respited till the next Prouinciall Court, & th^t John
uan Hack be summoned therto, to testify.
