John Bogue aged 30 yeares or thereabouts sworne 15 January 1658
Sayth that M^rs ffenwick had a Roand horse w^th 3 white feete & a
white sneepe downe the face, w^ch should bee aged fiue yeares come
foaling time, & this is the horse M^rs ffenwick now hath in her possesⁿ
to the best of his knowledge, & further sayth not

Will^m Innis aged 40 yeares or thereabouts sworne 13 January
1658 Sayth That M^rs ffenwicks Roand horse, by all signes & tokens &
markes th^t I can apprehend by a horses mouth is fiue yeares old the
next foaling, & further sayth not.
Sworne before me Tho: Sprigge. Will^m Ineis

It is ordered that this Cause be Respited, & th^t all the Wittnesses
be att the next Prouinciall Court to testify Viua Voce & bee there
determined.

Vppon the demand of Will^m Allen (p^e Attornat Thomas Mathews)
for 340^l Tob.
The deft (by her Attorney) sayth th^t shee hath payd all or most
part of th^t Debt now demanded; & it being a Debt of 3 or 4 yeares
standing is not able to declare how the s^d Debt was payd & satisfyed
by her: And because it is a Debt uppon Accompt (whereas noe Debts
uppon any Accompt are recouerable by Act of Assembly of this
Prouince aboue nine months standing) Craues the Benefitt of that
Act, W^ch was graunted, & the plf nonsuited.

Know all men by these p^ents th^t I Michael Baysey doe make my
Wife Joane Baysey my true & law full Attorney, to arest, imprison
& plead all Causes whatsoeu^e in as full power as if I my selfe were
there, & I Michael Baysey doe impower her my s^d Wife to plead all
cases, & act & w^th stand all suites depending in this Prouinciall Court
as wittnes my hand this 18^th of January 1658 Michael x Baysey

To the hon^ble the Gou^r & Councell for &c :

The humble Petⁿ of Thomas Cornewalleys Sheweth That whereas
Thomas Gregory late of this Prouince being unfortunately slayne att
the engagem^t in Anarundell County being indebted to yo^r Pet^r.
And none since his death hauing taken any legall course for duly
adfhistring the Estate of the s^d Gregory, whereby yo^r Pet^r might
receaue satisfaction, who hauing thereuppon taken out Ires of ad-
mistraon & hearing th^t Michael Baysey of Patux^t hath illegally
possessed himselfe of a Parcell of Land, lett by the s^d Baysey to the s^d
Gregory for certaine yeares of a writing under the hand of the s^d
Baysey, W^ch writing the s^d Baysey after the death of the s^d Gregory
