The humble Pet" of Job Chandler. Sheweth

That yo^r Pet^r had a Mare running in S^t Maries County, & about
this time twelmonth yo^r Pet^r came downe there to haue marked her,
or gott her home where hearing Barnaby Jackson did lay claime to
the s^d Beast, & th^t hee was looking for her to marke her, yo^r Pet^r
meeting w^th the s^d Barnaby, did before sufficient wittnes forewarne
him, from marking the s^d Mare. Yett neuerthelesse the same day,
or the next, he finding the s^d Mare, marked her, & deteynes her from
yo^r Pet^e. And further yo^r Pet^r being att S^t Maries in July last,
sent for the s^d Barnaby to know whither hee would deliuer yo^r Pet^r
his Mare w^thout trouble, who told yo^r Pet^r before Cap^t Cornewalleys
& others, th^t the Mare hee had marked was his owne, & th^t Cap^t
Stone had deliuered my mare to Cap^t Cornewalleys, & th^t shee had
Two Mare Colts.
The premises considered yo^r Pet^e humbly craues redresse And hee
