Philip Land Examined sayth uppon Oath, That being the last
Court att Patuxt & in Company wth Willm Lewcas, & Capt Waring,
Stephen Gaylord came amongst them, And after a while, Willm
Lewcas making semblance to be gone, sayd, tht he could stay noe
longer ffor he must goe to schoole, otherwise hee should be whipped,
Capt Waring replyed, had there bene none wiser then I, you should
