this Instruction, & to remember this is the last time, this will be
repeated to you: You are likewise to transmit over a Verbatim Copy
of one of the Agreements with the Collectors of the Quit Rents.
An Instruction to our trusty & well Beloved Sam^l Ogle Esq^r &^ca
viz.
Whereas several Inconveniencys may arise, in any one being
appointed Clerk of any of the Countys contrary to the Approbation
of our Gov^or for the time being, Tis my will & Pleasure th^t you
acquaint the Secretary th^t for the future no one be appointed for
the s^d Offices but with your approbation & consent.
Given at London this 22^d of Feb^ry 1738/9 & in the 24^th year of
our Dominion under our hand & lesser Seal at Arms.
