Was sent by Collo Gale & Collo Herman to the Lord Proprietary
to know when & where he will receive the Address of both Houses
to his Lordship Collo Gale and Collo Herman They return and
acquaint Mr Speaker the Lord Proprietary is now ready to receive
the Address at his Own House.
Mr Speaker & the Other Members of this House joined the Mem-
bers of the Upper House in the Attendance on his Lordship with the
Address
An Ingrossed Bill Entituled an Act for Erecting a Town near
Elk Ridge Landing &c. Was read & Assented to and sent to the Upper
House with the Paper bill by Mr Warfield and Mr Hamilton.
The House Adjourns untill Two of the Clock in the Afternoon

Wednesday Post Merediem,
The House met according to Adjournment &c.
A Supplementary Bill to the Act for regulating Prosecutions in
Criminal Cases was read the first time & Ordered to lye on the
Table.

p. 480

On reading the Bill Entituled an Act to lay an Additional Duty
on New England Spirits &c. The Question was put that the Bill
shall pass, Resolved in the Negative.
