It's likewise further Offered by your Committee as an Aggrievance
that the Attorney General or Clerk of Indictments should Charge

their fees on Execution for Prosecutions in Criminal Cases before
the Person Prosecuted be Convicted or Acquitted.
It's also further Offered by your Committee as an Aggrievance
that the Sherriffs or Clerks should Charge fees for Summoning or
Issueing Summons's in any Causes where the Evidences are ready
in Court On the Tryal of Causes to give their Evidences, Unless
required by Either Plaintiff or Defendant.
All which foregoing Aggrievances are Recommended by your
Committee to the House for their Consideration thereof.

On reading the said Report, Resolved that the facts therein Com-
plained of are Aggrievances.
Ordered that a Bill be brought in to redress them.
The Bill Entituled a Supplementary Act to the Act for Quieting
Possessions &c. Was read the second time; and will not pass.
Mr Attorney from the Upper House Delivered to Mr Speaker the
Bill Entituled an Act for Erecting a Town on the North side of
Sassafras River &ca Indorsed.
Read the second time & will not pass.
An Ingrossed Bill Entituled an Act to Continue the Process &c.
in the Provincial Court &ca Read and Assented to and sent with the
Paper Bill to the Upper House by Mr Crabb and Mr Alien.
John Rousby Esqr from the Upper House Delivered to Mr Speaker
the Paper Bill Entituled an Act for Continuing the Process and
Proceedings in the Provl Court &c. Indorsed.
The Ingrossed Bill whereof this is the Original is read & As-
sented to.
The Bill Entituled an Act for Erecting a Town on the West side
of Great Choptank River in Talbot County for laying into Lotts
thirty Acres of Land, Read the first & second time by Especial Order
and passed and sent to the Upper House by Mr Goldsborough and Mr
Needles.
John Hall & Benj. Tasker Esqr from the Upper House Acquaint
to Mr Speaker the Lord Proprietary Desires his and the rest of the
Houses Attendance in the Upper House to see the Ingrossed bill
Entituled an Act to Continue the Process and Proceedings in the
Provincial Court and County Court and for Trial of Capital Offences
at the next Provincial Court to be held the third Tuesday of May
next passed into a Law.
Mr Speaker with the other Members of this House went to the
Upper House where the Lord Proprietary by the Clerk of the Council
declared his Assent to the Law.
