A Bill Entituled an Act for Enlargeing the Time for Shipping
Tobacco & was read first and Second time by Especial order and
passed and Sent to the Upr House by Col Hooper and Mr Stoddart.
And the following Message. [See page 429.]


John Rousby Esqr from the Upr House Delivers Mr Speaker the
paper Bill Entituled an Act Reviving and Continuing an Act of
Assembly Entituled an Act for the Speedy recovery of Small Debts
out of Court before a Single Justice of the Peace.
The Paper Bill Entituled a Supplementary act to the Act En-
tituled an Act for Emitting and makeing Current Ninety Thousand
pounds Current money of Maryland in Bills of Credit and to restrain
some Evill Practices of Sheriffs under Colour of the said act Com-
mitted.
The Paper Bill Entituled an Act to Continue an Act of Assembly
of this Province Entituled an Act for the Better relief of poore
Debtors.
The Paper Bill Entituled an Act to Continue an Act for raiseing
a Duty of Three pence p Hogshead &c Severally thus Indorsed.

By the Upr House of Assembly 28th April 1736.

The Ingrossed Bill whereof this is the Originall is read and
ascented to.

Charles Hammond Esqr from the Upr House Delivers Mr Speaker
a Bill Entituled an Act for Enlargeing the time for Shipping To-
bacco this present year. Indorst by the Upr House of Assembly 4th
May 1736. Read the first and second time by Especiall order and
will pass which said Bill was read here and passed for Ingrossing.
The Committee Appointed to Consider of Ways and means to
raise an Equivalent to his Lordship in Lieu of his Quit Rents and
Alienation fines are Impowered to send for Persons Papers Books
and records for their Information.
