The House met according to Adjournment. The Question was
put that this House now Enter into a further Consideration re-
lating to the Quit Rents and Alienation fines. Resolved in the
Affirmative. Phillip Lee Esq^r from the Up^r House Delivers the
Bill Entituled a Supplementary act to the act for Limitation of the
times for Sniping Tobacco Indorsed by the Up^r House
Read the Second time and with following Indorsement Pro-
posed that a Sum not Exceeding £4000 Sterling be raised to the
Lord Proprietor in Lieu of His Quit Rents and Alienation fines.
Col Gale Col Hooper M^r George M^r Hammond M^r Smith and M^r
Key appointed a Committee to Consider of ways and means of raise-
ing £4000 Sterling to His Lordship in Lieu of his Quit Rents and
Alienation fines.
