Mr Stoughton a representative of Somerset County Appeared in
the House this morning
Mr Brown a representative of Dorchester County appeared in the
House this Day
The Consideration of the Lord Proprieters Answer to the Joint
Address of Both Houses is referred to Monday next.
The Bill Entituled an Act to Remedy some defects in an In-
denture of Bargain and Sale made and Executed by Michl Curtis and
Sarah His wife &c. unto Charles Carroll Esqr Deceased &c. Read the
second time passed Sent to the Upr House by Mr Key and 5 more.
Philip Lee Esqr from the Upr House Delivers the Bill Entituled an
Act Reviveing and Continuing an Act of Assembly Entituled an
Act for the Speedy Recovery of Small Debts &c. before a Single
Justice of the Peace Indorsed read by Upr House 2d time and passed.
On Leave Given a Bill Intituled a Supplementary Act to the Act
Entituled an Act for Emitting and makeing Current 90000" Current
money of Maryland in Bills of Credit and to restrain some Evill
practices of Sheriffs under Couler of the said Office Read the first
time and ordered to Lye on the Table.
The Bill Entituled an Act for Erecting a Town in Cecil County
on the North Side of Sassafras River &c read Second time passed
Sent to the Upr House by Mr Johnson and Mr Wood. Col Ward
from the Upr House Delivers Mr Speaker the following Bills, The
Bill Entituled an Act to render the Navigation up Patuxent River
above Queen Anns Town in Prince Georges County more Easey
and Effectuall.
The Bill Entituled an Act to Cut of the Entail of a Tract of Land
Containing One hundred and thirty Acres lying in Dorchester County
being part of a Tract of Land Called Goodridges Choice and to
Entail in Lieu thereof a Tract of land Called the Hope Containing
fifty Acres also another Tract Called the Addition to the Hope Con-
taining one hundred Seventeen Acres both lying in the Said County
of Dorchester. The Bill Entituled an Act to Cut of the Entail of a
Tract of land Lying in Dorchester County Called Andertons point
Containing one hundred and Eleven Acres of Land Lying in the
said County being part of a Tract of Land Called Richardsons
Choice.

The Bill Entituled an Act for the payment of a Sum of money to
Andrew Ramsey and Compa of Glasgow in the Kingdom of Great
Brittain Merchants all Severally Indorsed

By the Upr House of Assembly 24th April 1736
Read the Second time and will pass.
