St Mary's and Charles Countys as Will build a new Church &c read

the Second time passed which Said two Bills Sent to the Upr House
by Mr Hawkins and Mr Waughop.
A Bill Entituled an Act to render Navigation up above Patuxent
River Above Queen Anns Town in Prince Georges County more
Easey and Effectual Read the first Time and ordered to Lye on the
Table.
The Bill Entituled an Act for the further Assessment of Twenty
Thousand pounds of Tobacco on the Taxable Inhabitants of Durham
Parish in Charles County &c. read the Second time and Passed.
The Bill Entituled an Act to Continue an Act of Assembly of
this Province for the better releif of poore Debtors read the Second
time and passed which two Bills were Sent to the Upr House by Mr
Hemsley and Mr Stoddert.
The House Adjourns until to Morrow Morning 9 a Clock.

Friday April the 23d 1736


The House met According to Adjournment. Mr Woolford a
Representative of Dorchester County appeared in the House this
morning. Mr Smith Col Hooper Col Belt and Col Hanson Ap-
pointed a Committy to Enquire into the State and Condition of the
Arms and Ammunition, and the accounts relateing thereto and to
make their Report.
Ordered that the Lord Proprietary's Answer to The Joint Address
of both Houses be taken into Consideration on the morrow
The Bill Entituled an Act to Cut the Entail of a Tract of Land
lying in Dorchester County Called Andertons point Containing one
hundred and Eight Acres and to Entail in Lieu thereof One hundred
and Eleven Acres of Land lying in the said County being part of a
Tract of Land Called Richardsons Choice read The Second time and
passed.
The Bill Entituled an Act to Cut of the Entail of a Tract of Land
Containing one hundred and Thirty Acres lying in Dorchester
County being part of a Tract Called Goodridges Choice and to Entail
in Lieu thereof a Tract of Land Called the Hope Containing fifty
Acres also another Tract Called the Addition to the Hope Containing
one hundred and Seventeen acres both lying in the Said County
of Dorchester Read the Second time and passed.
The Bill Entituled an Act to render the Navigation up Patuxent
River above Queen Anns Town in Prince Georges County more
Easey and Effectual read the Second time and passed.
The Bill for the payment of a Sum of money to Andrew Ramsey
Henry Maccall and William Gordon of Glasgow in the Kingdom
