By the Lower House of Assembly 7th April 1733
May it please your Honours
There is a sume Appointed by the Bill for Emitting bills of Credit
not Exceeding three Thousand pounds to buy Convenient ground
for the Publick use, and for Building an House and other Conve-
niences for the Govr of this Province for the time being which Sume
this House proposes shall be laid out by the Sole Directions of the
Honble Samuel Ogle Esqr for that Purpose, and there is likewise a

sume to be applied To repair the Publick Buildings which this house
conceives may be best Applyed, either by a Committee of both
Houses, or other persons to be appointed for that Purpose; And
therefore we desire your Honrs to joyn with this House in Appoint-
ing Proper persons to Direct how, and in what manner the said
money shall be Applyed, that a bill may be prepared Accordingly

The following Message is sent to the Lower House by Cot Ward
By the Upper House of Assembly 7th April 1733.

Gentlemen
This house agrees with your house, in placing the three thousand
pounds, and Directions of Building the Goverrs House in the Honoble
Samuel Ogle Esqr and in any other Govr or Commander in Chief
that may Succeed him And for Application of the Money to repair
the Publick Buildings, this House hath nominated Charles Calvert
Benja Tasker and Edmund Jenings Esqrs to be joyned with any
Members of your house
