passed to him, but the Day before the apportionment of the publick
Charge was made and upon Inspection into the Lists made at the
Conclusion of last Sessions Apportioning The payment of the Pub-
lick Charge Your Committee find a further sum of fifty pounds
allowed Mr William Rogers therein, which they Apprehend to be a
Double Allowance for one and the same Service Occasioned as your
Committee Apprehend by the Gentlemen who Apportioned the Pub-
lick Charge not Knowing the said William Rogers had then Ob-
tained an order from the Clerks of both Houses for said fifty pounds,
and as your Committee are Informed both sums have been received
by the said William Rogers, when in fact, but one of them was his
Due they Recommend the Same, to the Consideration of the House.

Adventurers In Iron works, read the first time and ordered to Lye
on the Table.
A Bill Entituled an Act for the Payment of all Officers fees in
Current money of this Province Read the first time and ordered a
Second Reading immediately.
On Reading the said Bill the second time, the Question was put
that the said Bill pass. Resolved accordingly.
