The Petition of Isaac Tunney a Languishing Prisoner in Talbot
County Goal Praying Relief Read and granted as prayed.
The Petition of Richard Standforth. read and ordered that his
Creditors have Notice to Attend this House on Wednesday next,
to Shew Cause if any they Have against Granting the Petition.
Ordered that Collo Gale bring in a Bill to Enable the Justices of
the Provincial Court to send for all Necessary Books that are want-
ing for the use of the said Court.
The Bill Entituled an Act, for the further Assessment of Twenty
Thousand pounds of Tobacco in the Taxable Inhabitants of Durham
Parish in Charles County &c. read the second time passed, Sent to
the Upper House by Coll Hanson and Mr Middleton

The Bill Entituled an Act, to Continue an Act Entituled an Act for
raiseing a Duty of three pence p Hogshead on all Tobacco Ex-
