in Andrew Grays Petition March 24th 1735.
It is Reported that your Committee, has Enquired into the facts
Contained therein By the Oath of Isaac Nichols, and the Personal
Knowledge of one of this Committee a Member of Dorchester
County by which the aforesaid facts Appears to be made good
which is Submitted to the Consideration of the Lower House of
Assembly.

leave to Bring in a Bill to Give longer time for that takeing up of
Lots in Charles Town, at the Head of Port Tobacco Creek then

Assembly, And that the Proprietor of the Land have Notice thereof.
The Petition of Sundry Inhabitants of Cecil County praying
leave to Bring in a Bill for Erecting a Town, at Penningtons Point
read and Leave Given Accordingly.
A Bill Entituled an Act, for the Building a Court House and
Repositary for the Records in Leonard Town in St Marys County
Read the first time and ordered to Lye on the Table.

Act for the Tryal of all matters of fact &c. Read the second time,
passed and sent to the Upper House by Col Hooper and five more.
On motion of a Member to Bring in a Bill to limit the Gauge of
Tobacco Hogsheads ordered that the Committee of Laws prepare
a Bill accordingly.
