Mr Tench Francis Appeared in the House this morning. Col
Hammond from the Upper House Delivers Mr Speaker a Petition
of the Justices of St Marys County praying leave to bring in a Bill
to Enable them to Build a new Court House Indorsed recommended,
which was here Read and leave given to Bring in a Bill.
The House Adjourns Untill two ef the Clock in the afternoon

The house met according to Adjournment &c.
The Governour Communicated to Mr Speaker, the following An-
swer to the Address of This House Viz.

Gentlemen of the Lower House of Assembly.
I Thank you Heartily for your Kind Address, the Sence you
Express of my Regard, for the Wellfare and Prosperity of this
Province gives me the Greatest Pleasure, and I Cannot but flatter
my selfe, that I shall have the good fortune to Preserve the Con-
tinuance of Your Esteem

Sent to the Upper house by Mr Dulany and five more.
On Motion of a Member of this House to Bring in a Bill to
Explain The Act for the Releif of Adventurers in Iron Works, Leave
given to bring in a Bill Accordingly. Ordered a Bill be Brought
in to revive the Act Entituled an Act for the Speedy Recovery of
small Debts out of Court before a Single Justice of Peace, Ordered
a Bill be brought in to Explain Certain Clauses in the Act Entituled
an Act for Emitting Ninety Thousand Pounds Current money of
Maryland Ordered a Bill be Brought in to Revive, the Act Entituled
an Act to Continue The Process, and proceedings in the Provincial
Courts &ca
The House Adjourns until Tuesday Morning at nine of the Clock
