354 Assembly Proceedings, March 19, 1735/6-April 10, 1736.

Inhabitants of King and Queen Parish in St. Marys and Charles
Counties as will build a new Church in that Part of the Parish which
lies in St Marys County and for the repairing of Newport Church
in the same parish and to appoint a time for the freeholders to meet
in Order to choose a Place to build the said Church upon severally
thus Subscribed
7 April 1736
Read and assented to by the Lower house of Assembly
Signed p Order M Macnemara Cl Lo H.

Read and assented to by this house and ordered to be so sub-
scribed the Paper Bills so Endorsed are sent by Edmund Jenings
Esqr

Read the Engrossed Bill Entituled an Act for Enlarging the time
for sniping- Tobacco this present Year; passed & Ordered to be so
subscribed, and sent to the Lower house with the Paper Bill by Col
Hammond, the Paper Bill brought from the Lower house by Mrs
King and Key thus Endorsed

By the Lower house of Assembly 7 April 1736

The Engrossed Bill whereof this is the Original is read and
assented to

Read the second time the Bill Entituled an Act for building a pub-
lick Goal in Annapolis, passed & sent by George Plater Esqr
The Journal of the Committee of Accounts brought from the
Lower house by Mrs King and four Others thus Subscribed

7 April 1736
Read & assented to by the Lower house of Assembly

Read the second time the Bill Entituled an Act Enabling the
Comrs or Trustees of the Paper Currency Office to pay to the
Representatives of several Counties the sum of five hundred
Pounds Each; passed & sent by George Plater Esqr
Adjourned until two of the Clock in the Afternoon
