338 Assembly Proceedings, March 19, 1735/6-April 10, 1736.

making Current ninety thousand pounds in Bills of Credit to the
Great Oppression of many the Good People of this Province were
in hopes that your Honours would have agreed to the passing a Bill
they prepared to that and some other Purposes but as Your Honours
have denied to pass that Bill, and as this house conceives it absolutely
necessary to pass some explanatory or Declaratory Act in Relation
to the before mentioned Act We therefore pray your Honours will
appoint some of the Members of your House to join some of this
House to confer on the Subject Matter proposed

The Indisposition of Col Gales family who was appointed by this
house as One of the Conferees for emproving the Credit of Our
Paper Money calling him home this house hath appointed Mr George
in his Stead
