Act for the further Assesment of so much Money on the Taxable
Inhabitants of S^t Marys and Charles Counties as will build a new
Church in that Part of the Parish which lies in S^t Marys County
and for the repairing of Newport Church in the same Parish and to
appoint a time for the freeholders to meet in Order to chuse a Place
to build the said Church upon thus Endorsed
