May it please your Honours
Your Honours in your Message of this Day by Michael Howard
Esqr having expressed your Readiness to concur in what may be
reasonable and practicable for the Advancement of the Credit of the
Paper Currency which being of the utmost Consequence to the
Country, and what this House hath most sincerely at heart propose
that a Conference be between the two houses, and desire that Your
Honours will concur therein to endeavour by a free Communication
of Sentiments to fall upon such general Measures as may contribute
to the Advancement thereof
