Read the second time and will pass

Read the first time in this house & Ordered to lye on the table
Adjourned until two of the Clock in the Afternoon

This house met again according to Adjournment
Present as in the Morning.

Edmund Jenings Esqr from the Committee of both Houses ap-
pointed to draw up the Address to the right honourable the Lord
Proprietary brings in the same, which being read is approved of &
sent to the Lower house with the following Message by Col Ham-
mond

By the Upper House of Assembly 30 March 1736
Gentlemen
This house hath approved of the Address to the Right honourable
the Lord Proprietary as prepared by the Committee of both houses
& herewith sent, and hopes it will be also agreeable to your House
Signed p Order John Ross Cl Up Ho.

The humble Address of the Upper and Lower houses of Assembly
of that Province

May it please Your Lordship
We His Majestys most dutiful and loyal Subjects the Members
of the Upper and Lower houses in Assembly convened have the
greatest Reason to rely on your Lordships most favourable Ac-
ceptance of this Our Application to your Lordship in a Matter which
so nearly concerns the Welfare of this Province as the Preservation
of Peace, the Protection of your Lordships rights and of the Lib-
