Act for Laying out a new fifteen Acres of Land part of the One hun-
dred Acres of Land formerly Erected into a Town Commonly Called
Benedict Leonard Town upon Patuxent River in Charles County
besides the Lotts which have been already taken up pursuant to the
Directions of former Laws and to Restrain the Inhabitants from
Keeping any Stock Except within their Inclosure in the said Town
thus Subscribed
31st March 1733

Read and Assented to by the Lower House of Assembly
Signed p Order M Macnemara Q. Lo. Ho.

Read and Assented to by this House, And Ordered to be so Sub-
scribed, The Paper Bill so Endorsed is sent to the Lower House by
Michael Howard Esqr

Read the Second time the Bill Entituled an Act for Erecting a
Town at and about the Landing Called the Elk Ridge Landing near
the Head of Potapsco River in Ann Arrundell County, and will pass,
if the Nomination of the Town be Left to the Lord Proprietary
Ordered to be so Endorsed and sent to the Lower House by Philip
Lee Esqr
Read the Second time the Bill Entituled an Act for the Assessment
of so much Tobacco on the Inhabitants of St Stephens Parish in
Cecil County as will Build them a new Parish Church and a Chappell
of Ease on Bohemia in the said Parish; and will pass, the Words,
on or about, in 9th 18th and 26th Lines being Left out, and the follow-
ing Words inserted, at or near, Ordered to be so Endorsed and sent
to the Lower House by Benjamin Tasker Esqr
Adjourned till two of the Clock in the Afternoon
