Concerning Ordinarys &c. Severally Indorsed.
The Ingrossed Bill whereof this is the Original is Read and As-
sented to.

Col John Ward a Member returned for Cecil County appeared In
the House this afternoon.
Mr George and Mr Johnson sent to the Upper House to see him
Qualified they Return & Acquaint Mr Speaker they saw him take
the Several Oaths to the Government required by Law & Sign the
said Oaths & Repeat and Sign the Test
The House Adjourns until to Morrow Morning nine of the Clock.

The House met According to Adjournment the Members Called
Over and all present as yesterday the Proceedings of Yesterday
were Read Over.
Mr Kennard hath Leave to go home
The Bill Entituled an Act for Licenceing Hawkers & Pedlars &c.
Read and with the Amendments proposed passed for Ingrossing
The Bill Entituled an Act Concerning Divers Felonies is Referred
to the Consideration of the next Session of Assembly

Sent to the Upper House by Mr Magruder & Col Belt.
Ordered a Bill be Brought in to Repeal an Act Against Ingrossers
And Regrators.
A Bill Entituled an Act to Record a Deed of Mortgage from a
Certain Thomas Howell of Kent County to Edward Beck of the
said County attorney in fact for a Certain Casper Hood & Read the
First Time and Ordered to Lie on the Table.
Ordered a Suplementary Bill to the Several Acts for Adminis-
tration of Justice be Brought in.
A Bill Entituled an Act Reviving an Act for the relief of Prisoners
for Debt Read the first time and Ordered to Lie on the Table
Ordered a Bill be Brought in for the Preservation of Harbours,
And Another, to Ascertain the Gauge And Tare of Tobacco
Hoghseads And to prevent Cropping Cutting and Defaceing &c.
It being Moved by a Member that the Transcripts of the Records
made by Evan Jones Are not Agreeable to the Original Records,
the Consideration thereof is Referred to the next Session of As-
sembly.
The House Adjourns until Two of the Clock in the afternoon
