The House met According to Adjournment, The Members called
Over and all present as Yesterday, the Proceedings of Yesterday
were Read Over.
The Governour Sent to Mr Speaker the following Letter to be
Communicated to this House, Viz.
Gentlemen of the Lower House of Assembly.
Having received from England a Plan of the House Proposed
to be Built for the Residence of Your Governours Pursuant to the
Act of Assembly made for that purpose. I here lay it before you
for your Approbation; and as it is my Sincere Intention Never to
make the Least Misapplication of Any Publick Money at Any time
intrusted to my Care, but to lay it Out with the Utmost Integrity
for the Service of the Country I assure You I shall be always Ready
to give you all possable Satisfaction, and to lay all Accounts before
you as Often as you think fit According to Your Undoubted
Right so to do, to require them.

the Punishment be ascertained in the Bill to be brought in for that
purpose or not, Resolved in the Negative.
