May it please your Honours
In answer to your Message of this day by Benjamin Tasker Esqr
We hope we have always & shall make appear that neither heats
passion or prejudice ever hath or will influence the proceedings of
this House, But we cannot now agree to make the Allowances you
claim as a Council of State & therefore desire your Honours will
not insist upon it

to record & Enter up the Proceedings of the Provincial Court which
were omitted to be done during the Continuance of Vachel Denton
in the Office of Clerk of the said Court & to require & direct the
Justices of the Several and respective County Courts within this
Province to lay a State of the Order and Condition the Records &
