Benjamin Tasker Esqr from the Committee to inspect the pro-
ceedings of the Commissioners of the Paper Currency makes the
following report
By the Committee of both Houses appointed to inspect the office and
Proceedings of the Commrs for emitting the paper mony in
Maryland, 19th April 1735
Your Committee having in the most careful Manner inspected the
State of the Office for emitting the Paper mony & the Accounts of
the Commrs or Trustees find both in very good Order and that the
said Commrs have faithfully discharged the Trust reposed in them
They further find that there hath been remitted from England
blank Bills amounting in the Whole to £89987..10sh..0 that the Bills
remitted are such as the Act of Assembly for emitting the mony
directs, and that there only wants to make up the Sum of ninety
thousand pounds ten twenty Shilling Bills & ten five Shilling Bills
Your Committee further find that the Account hereunto annexed
is a just & true Account of the money emitted & remaining in the said
Office & humbly Submitt the same to both Houses of Assembly
