Present as in the morning

Read the second time the Bill entituled an Act to cut of the Entail
of two Tracts of Land in Baltimore County the one called Morn-
ing's choice the other called Morning's Choice Addition and to
entail in Lieu thereof part of Vulcan's Rest in Cecil County & will
pass Ordered to be so Subscribed and Sent to the Lower House
by George Plater Esqr
Read the first Time the bill prepared in this House entituled an
Act for Naturalization and ordered to lye on the Table
Messrs Mackall and Smith from the Lower House attend with
Cot John Mackall a Member elected for Calvert County in order to
see him qualifyed who takes the oaths to the Government appointed
to be taken by Act of Assembly and Subscribes the Abjuran & Test
& then withdrew
Read the second time the Bill entituled an Act for the Naturaliza-
tion of Leonard De Ceause a Native of Switzerland now an Inhabi-

tant of Ann Arundel County in Maryland, & will not pass no Appli-
cation having been made to this House by the Petitioner, Ordered to
be so Endorsed and sent to the Lower House by Philip Lee Esqr
Read the second Time the bill Entituled an Act for the Naturali-
zation of Daniel Fosnerod a Native of Switzerland now an Inhab-
itant of Ann Arundel County in Maryland & will not pass, no appli-
cation having been made to this house by the Petitioner ordered to
be so Endorsed & Sent to the Lower House by Mich: Howard Esqr
Read the second Time by an especial order the bill prepared in this
House Entituled an Act for Naturalization, and passed, Ordered to
be so endorsed & sent to the Lower House with the following Mes-
sage by Benjn Tasker Esqr

By the Upper House of Assembly 10th April 1735
Gentlemen
This House having considered that Aliens residing and coming
to this Province are at great Expence & Trouble in applying to the
Genl Assembly in order to be invested with the Liberties & Priv-
ileges of his Majestys natural born Subjects hath prepared & sent
you a bill for their more Easy & Speedy naturalization which we
hope will meet with your Concurrence
