508 Assembly Proceedings, July 11-August 8, 1732.

having refused to Execute the Warrants, by Means of the said
Lloyd's Caution, That the said Lloyd having run out some Lines
Including some Plantations Several People Quitting their Habita-
tions rather than be Tenants under him as they Alledged.
And the said Peter Taylor further Affirms that in some Conver-
sation between Esqr Lloyd and himself About two Years since (And
After the Death of the said Hays) the sayd Lloyd Acquainted him
that he should Continue the said Cautions And he hath never under-
stood that Esqr Lloyd hath to this time Quitted his 'Pretensions to
the said Cautions.

The House Concurrs therewith and referrs it for the Considera-
tion of next Assembly

The Bill Entituled an Act for Emitting Paper Currency Sent to
the Upper House and the following Message. [The text of this
message is printed at page 432.] By Collo Ward and Cap" Black-
istone, Who return and say they Delivered the same.
The Report from the Committee of Accounts Concerning Mr
Knight referred to be Considered of next Assembly.
Mr Beale from the Committee to regulate Officers fees Delivered
Mr Speaker the following report. [The text of this report is printed
at page 433.]
The House Approves of the said Report.
Mr Read hath Leave to go home.
Mr Waughop hath leave to go home .to Morrow if the House does
not brake up to night
Mr Hawkins hath leave to go home.
The House Adjourns Untill Two of the Clock in the Afternoon.

Saturday Afternoon.

The House met according to Adjournment, the Members Called
& all Present as in the Morning Except Mr Wright
The Question was put that the three pence p Hogshead formerly
raised for Arms & Ammunicition be now raised and Applied as the
Governour and the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly shall
think fit. Resolved in the Affirmative.
