Read the Petition of the Rector Vestrymen Churchwardens and
Inhabitants of King and Queen parish in St Marys and Charles
County's praying leave to bring in a bill to rebuild the Church in
Bushwood parish, and to be called Christ Church and to repair
Newport Church; Referred to the Consideration of the Lower house
of Assembly; sent by Philip Lee Esqr
Read the Petition of the Vestrymen & Church wardens of Wil-
liam and Mary parish in Charles County praying leave to bring in a
bill to Regulate the parishes in St Marys & Charles Countys in the
same manner as they were done by the Act of Assembly made in
the Year 1728 if it may be so done, if not, that it may be done after
the death or Removal of the present Incumbents; Recommended to
the Consideration of the Lower House of Assembly, provided the
Act prayed for by the said Petition does not take place till after the
Death or Removal of the present Incumbents; Sent by John
Rousby Esqr
Adjourned till to Morrow Morning Eight of the Clock.
