Mr John Courts viz.
By the Lower House of Assembly October the 10th 1728
May it please your Honours
In answer to your message of this day by John Hall Esqr we
take leave to acquaint your Honours that we have an undoubted
right to use any of the Terms, Delegates, Deputyes or Represen-
tatives it being true in fact that we are such to all the free People
of Maryland, and the terms themselves being proper However that
no Obstruction be given to the publick Business of this Sessions
we are Content to make use of the same stile that hath been made
use of for sometime past always saving and reserving to ourselves
the people we represent and our Posterity all their rights and pro-
testing that neither they or we are to be prejudiced by the present
Concession which we make for the sake of dispatching publick
business

Read the second time the Act to repeal An Act Entituled An Act
prohibiting the Importation of Bread &c. As also the Act for Relief
of John Beale of Charles County which are Ordered to be severally
thus endorst viz.

Read the second time and the Stile of the enacting part being
made as usual this Bill will pass.
