The following Message is prepared & sent to the Lower House
by Colo Richard Tilghman viz.

By the Upper House of Assembly October the 7th 1728
Gentlemen
In Answer to your Message on Saturday last by Mr Samuel Han-
son and Edmund Jenings Esqr we must acquaint you that Mr Lloyd
(who is nearly Concerned in inspecting the Records) is every day
expected in this House, if it will not be Prejudicial to the Business
of your House to defer that Committee three or four days whether
he comes or not we shall then appoint some members to join such
members as are appointed by your House for that purpose
