Wounds in King Wras Service, and poverty was read and
indorsed (viz.)

By the Upper House of Assembly October the 19th 1723

The within Petition relating to a matter purely lying before
the Lower House of Assembly is Referred to their Con-
sideration.

Sent with the Original Bills No 21, 22, to the Lower House
by Esqr Rousby.
A Message from the Lower House by Mr Crabb and three
more viz.

By the Lower House of Assembly 8br the 19th 1723.

May it please Yor Honrs
We have Read the Report of the Committee appointed to
Agree with proper Workmen for building a Gate house and
Repairing the Town Fence and concur therewith And Capt

U. H. J.

Joseph Harrison is willing to undertake the Building of the
House and to finish the same Compleatly according to that
Report for One hundred and Ten Pounds Current Money;
and as to the Town Fence we are willing that Thomas Jobson
should procure Logs and set up the Fence and be allowed for
the same according to that Report with which if your Honrs
Concur the Persons may proceed thereon.

It appearing to the House from the Treasurers Accts of the
Eastern and Western Shores annexed to the Journal of the
Committee of Accounts that there was a Considerable Sum
of Sterling money belonging to the Free Schools in their
Hand and Benjamin Tasker Esqr having offered for the Bills
