Friday Morning June the 7^th 1717.

The House meet according to Adjournment who being
Called over appear as Yesterday except M^r Charles Wright
who is excus'd by reason of his Sickness
Yesterday's Proceedings are read.
On a Petition Preferr'd by the Inhabitants of Dorchester
County against the Justices of the same County for selling the
Arrearages of Amerciaments in th^t County at an under rate
the Severall Justices appear at the Barr of this House and this
House having heard their allegacons in Excuse. Ordered the
same be referr'd to the Upper House to do what may be
Necessary therein. Which pet⁰ w^th that Endorsm^t was Sent
to the upper House by M^r Brannock and M^r Meekins.
They return and say they delivered it.
M^r Bordley delivers M^r Speaker the rough Draught of an
Address to the Lords Prop^ry and Guilford prepar d by himself
M^r Rousby & Cap^t ffrisby which was read and approved by
the house and ordered to be fair writt over.
Bill ascertaining the Gauge and Tares of Tob^o hhd^s &c:
being thus endorst Viz.
