Which Bill with the Endorsement was read in the house
by especiall order and was Amended accordingly and ordered
to be thus Endorst Viz:

By the Lower House of Assembly June 6th 1717.

Read the third Time with the Amendments by Especiall
Order and past for engrosing.

And sent p Majr Harris to the Comittee of Laws to be
engrost

The house adjourns till to morrow Morning Eight a Clock.

Friday Morning June the 7th 1717.

The House meet according to Adjournment who being
Called over appear as Yesterday except Mr Charles Wright
who is excus'd by reason of his Sickness
Yesterday's Proceedings are read.
On a Petition Preferr'd by the Inhabitants of Dorchester
County against the Justices of the same County for selling the
Arrearages of Amerciaments in tht County at an under rate
the Severall Justices appear at the Barr of this House and this
House having heard their allegacons in Excuse. Ordered the
same be referr'd to the Upper House to do what may be
Necessary therein. Which pet0 wth that Endorsmt was Sent
to the upper House by Mr Brannock and Mr Meekins.
They return and say they delivered it.
Mr Bordley delivers Mr Speaker the rough Draught of an
Address to the Lords Propry and Guilford prepar d by himself
Mr Rousby & Capt ffrisby which was read and approved by
the house and ordered to be fair writt over.
Bill ascertaining the Gauge and Tares of Tobo hhds &c:
being thus endorst Viz.

By the Lower House of Assembly June 7th 1717.
Read with the Amendments and will Pass.

Was Sent to the upper house by Mr Rousby Capt ffrisby Mr
Young and Majr Bradford with the following Message Viz.
