On reading the Message prepared by Mr Tyler Mr Green-
field and Capt Colegate relating to Ordinary Lycences the
Same is referred till Monday next for further Consideracon.
On reading the Peto of Richard Manning Praying relief
agt Eliza Travers for the Suppressing a fraudulent Will and
the Allegacons of Both Parties being heard by their Councill
at the Barr of this House, The Question was put whether a
Bill should be Brought in as Prayed.
Resolved in the Negative, by the Majority of Votes.

The reasons assigned by their Lpps for Dissassenting To the
Law which Lays 4l p poll on Irish Servants are that it tends
to the Excluding his Majesty's Protestant Subjects from Sett-
ling in This Province And is a Discouragement to the Peopling
of it is by the Advice of Councill Dangerous to his Lpps
Charter which is hoped will give Satisfaccon to your House.
