Which being read this house Concurrs therewith and or-
dered the following Message be prepared Viz:

By the Lower House of Assembly.
April the 20th 1720.

May it Please your Excellency and Honours
This House highly Applaud your Excellencys and your
Honours proceedings relateing to the Papists as a meanes to
Secure and Establish to the Protestants their just Rights
against any future Claime of Right the Papists may pretend
to in this Province (which they alledge are infringed) and
Willingly Concurr wth your Excellency and Honours in the
Wise and prudent measures taken and proceeded on in that
affair, and therefore return our hearty thanks to your Ex-
cellency and Honours for the Same.

and Sent to the upper house by Mr Tyler and Dasheil
They returne and say they Deliver'd it.
Engrost Bill for Laying the Publick Levy Read and or-
dered to be thus Endorst Viz.

April the 20th 1720
Read and Assented to by the Lower house of assembly and
Signed p Order M: Jenifer Cl: Lo: Ho

And Sent to the upper house by Mr Larramore and Mr Dent
They return and Say they Delivered it.
Ordered Mr Lee and Capt Mariartee go to the upper house
to Acquaint them that nothing of Publick Business remaines
before this house unfinished.
They return and Say they Delivered their Message
Collo Young with three others from the upper house De-
livers Mr Speaker the following Message Viz.

By the upper house of Assembly
April the 20th 1 720.
Gent. Wee are glad wee have proposed the Meanes by
which you Allow we Might be Enabled to represent with
great Clearness the Aggrievances treated of in your Message
of the 19th Instant by Coll Mackall and five others, but are
obliged by the Tyes of Duty to our Country and for the Sake
of preserving a Concurrence of Sentiments with you to ac-
quaint you with our Objections to your reasons for Declining
