Delivered Duplicates of what is contained in a paper giveing
notice to all papists to appear at a certain time in Said Paper
Mentioned to make appear what right or previledges of theirs
(as they have given out in Speech) are Infringed by the
present Administration of Government to Henry Darnall,
William Diggs, John Diggs, Benjamin Hall and Clement Hill
of Prince Georges County Gentlemen, and that I Left one
other copy of the same Paper for Mr Peter Attwood at the
house of Mr Benjaman Hall where the said Peter (as I have
been told) was Expected to be in a day or two and I further
Certifie that being Informed yesterday that Mr Charles Diggs
was at Mr William Diggs', I sent one other Copy of said Paper
(this morning) to the said William Diggs in order to be
delivered to the said Charles Diggs So Answers
Richd Keen Depty Sherr.

April the 16th 1720.

His Excellency observes to this House that the Principall
Papists had notice given them as appeares by the return of the
Deputy Sherife of Prince Georges County, by Giveing and
leaving Coppys of the Resolve of this house for their Appear-
ance here this Day, Therefore his Excellency proposes wheth-
er a List of their names should not be given the Doorkeeper
to Inquire whether they are in Town Attending to be heard,
which this house Concurrs wth, and it is ordered that a List of
the names of the said Persons be made and Delivered the
Doorkeeper in order to Inquire whether they are in Town At-
tending. The List of the said Persons names are made and
Delivered the Doorkeeper accordingly, which Names are as
follows Viz. Henry Darnall, William Diggs, John Diggs, Ben-
jaman Hall, Clement Hill, Peter Attwood, Charles Diggs.

The Sherife of Ann Arundell County makes the following
return Viz.
April the 19th 1720.

I Humbly Certifie that in Obedience to the Commands of

L. H. J,

His Excy John Hart Esqr Governour of Maryland and the
upper and Lower Houses of Assembly sitting I have Delivered
Coppys of what is Contained in a paper giving notice to all
Papists to appear at a Certain time in said Paper Mentioned
to make appear what right or previledges of theirs (as they
have given out in Speeches) are Infringed by the present Ad-
ministration of Government To Charles Carroll, James Car-
roll, Richard Bennett and William Fitz Redman Gentn De-
livered with my own hands, and one for Henry Darnall Junr
