and Sent to the Upper House by Mr Hill and Mr Earle.
They return and say they Delivered it.
Resolved that the Members and Officers of this House that
are willing: to take money for the Tobacco due to them for
their Attendance and Service this Sessions, more then is al-
ready allowed them by the Committee of Accounts be allowed
at the rate of Twelve Shillings and six pence Cur^ money p
Cent for the Tobacco so due to them for their Attendance this
Sessions more then allowed them by the Journall of the Com-
mittee of Accounts and ordered the following Message be
prepared (Viz)
By the Lower House of Assembly April the 20th 1720.
May it please your Honours
This house having made a Resolve that the Severall Mem-
bers and officers Attending on this house that are willing to
take money for the Tobacco due to them for their Attendance
and Service this Sessions more than is allowed by the Journall
of the Committee of Accounts be allowed at the rate of Twelve
Shillings and six pence Current money p hundred for the
Tobacco so due to them Desire to know whether your Hon-
ours are Willing that the Severall Members and Officers of
your house shall have the like Allowances, with which, if the
house agree the Allowances may be now made Accordingly
And Sent to the upper house by the Gentl. of the Committee
of Accounts
They return and say they Delivered it.
Coll Ward from the Upper House Delivers Mr Speaker the
Bill for Laying the Publick Levy thus Endorst Viz.
