the Act Intended to be revived by that bill, and find the bill
proposed instead of reviving the Act as it now Stands alters
the nature of its Continuance which was at first founded on
an Instruction. We therefore propose as an Amendment to
that bill that the time of its [continuance] be Limited in the

same manner as it was in the Original Act, Viz. to Continue
from the Twenty ninth day of September next untill the 29th
Day of September which shall be in the year of our Lord
God one thousand Seven hundred and Twenty one.

Whereupon the Bill is amended accordingly, and Ordered
the following message be prepared Viz:

By the Lower House of Assembly April the 20th 1720.
May it please your Honours
This house concurrs with your Honours in the amending
the Engrost bill for reviving and continuing the Act for
ascertaining the Gauge and Tare of Tobacco hogsheads &c.
herewith Sent and have made the alterations Accordingly. .

and Sent to the Upper House with that Bill by Mr James Lloyd
and Mr Hill.
They return and Say they Delivered them.
Mr Lowe from the upper House Delivers Mr Speaker the
bill for relief of Thomas Plummer thus Endorst Viz.

By the Upper House of Assembly April the 20th 1720.

The Orphans of John Gerrard who is a minor being con-
cerned herein It is the Opinion of this house the Same ought
to be referred till the next Sessions.

Which was Referred till next Sessions.
Engrost bill giveing further time to the Several Tradesmen
in Annapolis to Improve their Lotts &c: was read, and or-
dered to be thus Endorst viz:

April the 20th 1720.

Read and Assented to by the Lower House of Assembly,
And Signed p Order M: Jenifer Cl: Lo: Ho:

and sent to the Upper House by Mr Hill and Mr Tasker.
They return and say they Delivered it.

The house adjourns till one a Clock in the Afternoon.
