the Honble Conf errees of your house were pleased to make the
same judgment in relation to the short Duration of this Ses-
sions, to which might be added the Ill consequences that might
have attended such precipitate proceedings as well as the
Probability of laying this House under a Deserved Censure

Bill for giving further time to the Tradesmen in Annapolis
to Improve their Lotts read the first and Second times by
Especial Order and will pass

They return and say they Delivered it

May it please your Honours
This house being Apprehensive that this Sessions is near a
Conclusion and wanting some papers relateing to the Offices.
are desirous that the further Consideration of our Message
of the 13th Instant by Mr Lloyd and Mr Smith concerning the
Security to be given by the Secretary and other great Officers
in this Province may be referred till next Sessions.

we wholly agree to the bringing in a Bill According to the pro-
posall in that Message mentioned, but forasmuch as we hope
this Session is near a Conclusion, we desire the Consideratior
thereof may be referred till the Debate Concerning the Greater
Offices is Determined.
