Ordinaries in our Province should be regulated We are de-
sirous that a Bill may be prepared accordingly and that the
Fines thereon may be made certain which you are to en-
deavour to accomplish being rather inclined to have it Setled
with the Consent of our People than by our own Prerogative.

Clock.

The House mett According to a Adjournment.
The house being Called over appear as yesterday.
Yesterday's proceedings are Read.
Mr Matthias Vander Heyden is excused on his Letter by
reason of his Indisposition
Coll: Hynson has the Leave of this House to go home.
Two of his Children & wife being ill.

The House Adjourn till One a Clock in the afternoon

Post Meridiem
The House meet according to Adjt

Resolved that this house will sit to do Business from Eight
till eleven of the Clock in the forenoon And from one till five
of the Clock in the Afternoon.

Ordered the following Message be Sent to the Upper House
Viz.

By the Lower House of Assembly May the 30th 1717
May it please your Excy & Honours
This House in order to dispatch Business as much as in
them lyes has made a resolution to Sit from Eight of the
Clock in the forenoon till Eleven and from one till five in the
Afternoon dureing this Sessions and Desire to know whether
the Time resolved on be agreeable to your Excy & Honours.

They return and say they delivered it.
